I am a Trainee CILEx Lawyer in our Residential Property Department, based in St Albans.

I currently assist Caroline Hume, Head of the Residential Property Department with most aspects of residential conveyancing ranging from answering clients queries from the start of their transaction through to them exchanging on their matters.

I work mainly with New Build matters but am also experienced in straightforward sales and purchases. I am continuing to develop my skills through hands-on learning. I enjoy speaking with clients and making sure they feel reassured throughout their transaction.

I started with Taylor Walton straight from finishing my A-Levels as a Paralegal Apprentice. This was an alternative to University and I have found it was the best decision for me as I am able to learn on the job and gain vital experience working in a very busy department. I have since qualified as a Paralegal and I am currently studying for my CILEX Advanced Paralegal qualification. My end goal is to qualify as a CILEX Lawyer. Studying alongside working full-time has allowed me to gain a thorough understanding of the conveyancing process, and the reasons why every step of the process is important.

I joined Taylor Walton in 2018.

I have completed my CILEX Level 3 Diploma in Law and Practice and the CILEX Paralegal qualification. I am currently working towards gaining my Advanced Paralegal qualification before qualifying as a CILEX Lawyer.
